Okay, it’s time for the birth weight conversation. There seems to
be a belief that the only bulls that can be considered breed lead-
ing need to be heifer bulls. This Profi tbuilder son destroys that
misconception! His dam is a fi rst calf heifer already posting an
MPPA of 106.8 thanks to his performance. His adjusted wean-
ing weight is #5 in the offering and his adjusted yearling weight
is #1. Every defi ned ratio is well over 100. His WR is tied for the
4th highest and his YR is #1. He is posting an ADG of 113 and
is tied for the #1 WDA at 115. IMF ratio is 111 and REA is 103.
He boasts 6 EPDs in the top 9% of the breed or higher. His GM
is tied for the #1 EPD in the offering and is in the top 1%. His
WW, YW, and CW all rank as #1 in the offering and are all in
the top 1%. You just can’t top the actual performance that ties
directly in to his EPDs. Bob and I evaluate & score every bull
in the feedlot. Validation received the highest score of all bulls.
Our notes read: Good +, good solid bull, huge nuts, broad,
deep all through, good muscling and thickness, meat house. If

Discovery may just be the most complete bull you fi nd this
year! He is an outstanding Redemption x Mountain combina-
tion with a ton of natural thickness, a straight, broad top and
great depth and rear quarter. He has a birth weight of 67 which
is tied for the 2nd lowest in the offering but that didn’t stop the
performance. ALL ratios are over 100 from growth to carcass to
performance. His ADG is 104, IMF is 108 and REA is 111. He
is the only bull in the offering with 13 EPDs in the top 20% of
the breed and 5 of those are in single digits. He is tied for the
#1 CED and has the #3 BW combined with top notch maternal
numbers. Growth stays strong and carcass reads beautifully.
How often do you fi nd a true heifer bull that can deliver the
goods on growth, carcass, maternal power and phenotype
