Welcome to the annual Croissant Red Angus bull sale. This is the 17th year of holding a bull
sale on our ranch, starting with a small private treaty event. We are grateful to the numerous
family members and friends that have pitched in over the years to make each one a success. The
Croissant Red Angus family has grown and the format of the sale has evolved as we have been
able to increase the number of bulls offered for sale, yet our commitment to produce high quality
bulls that excel in our environment remains. We hope you fi nd the set of bulls offered this year
continues to meet the high genetic & phenotypic standards you are accustomed to.

We are pleased to continue our partnership with Kelly & Kitty Sorensen. This is the third year
they have cooperated with us in the bull sale, bringing quality bulls to the program. The commer-
cial heifers this year include sets from three different herds that have used Croissant Red Angus
bulls for several years.

At Croissant Red Angus, we strive to provide accurate data to help you make an informed choice
for your bull selection. We are committed to using all the tools available, providing our custom-
ers with the information needed to make the best selection. We added DNA enhanced EPDs three
years ago and began PAP testing all the bulls last year for our high altitude customers. If you
have any questions regarding the data provided, please contact us.

Red Angus cattle continue to provide value in the marketplace. There are a variety of value added
programs to help the commercial cattle producer market their Red Angus sired calves including
FCCP and Top Dollar Angus. All calves sired by Croissant Red Angus bulls qualify for FCCP. Bulls
noted with the Top Dollar Angus logo in the catalog qualify for that program.

In addition to viewing the cattle on sale day, you are welcome to come out anytime, just give us
a call. A ranch visit prior to sale will allow time for us to visit with you more in-depth about your
cowherd goals and pick bulls that will work best in your operation.
We hope you will join us on March 25, 2017. There’ll be plenty of donuts and coffee in the
morning as you prepare to view the bulls or look through the data one more time. Lunch will be
served starting at 11am and the sale will start at 1 p.m. MDT. DV Auction will broadcast sale as
well, allowing those that can’t be here to view the sale and place bids.
