Welcome to our 2019 production sale!

We want to express our appreciation to all of our friends and customers for your support of our program. We are
very blessed to be a part of the Red Angus breed. Kansas State University has documented information (from
Superior Livestock Video Auction for 9 years and over 6 million head ) that shows Red Angus-infl uenced steers
sell consistently for the same money as blacks and the Red Angus females command a $5-$7-per-cwt premium
over all other breeds.

We are a family-owned and operated business, breeding Red Angus cattle since 1991. Feddes and C-T run
over 400 mother cows. We use AI and ET programs extensively to produce the very best genetics available.
We manage our cattle ourselves with limited hired help, therefore we can represent our cattle from day-to-day
experience.

Our cattle run under range conditions from swampy grasslands (4,000 feet,) to high mountain grass at 8,000 feet
of elevation. We focus on the mother cow, without pampering the cowherd.

We use the most advanced technology available – DNA testing, carcass ultrasound evaluation, along with a
strict culling program to give you, the customer, the most accurate information possible. Visual appraisal and
structural soundness are critical to our selection process. We don’t chase fads. We breed for “BALANCED TRAIT
SELECTION” with focus on the maternal traits, many of which don’t have an EPD.

The EPDs in this catalog are current as of March 2, 2019. BOLT EPDs are updated weekly so slight changes will be
expected. We will provide current EPDs on sale day.

We are blessed to be able to support our kids and grandkids in basketball, baseball, football and volleyball games
as well as 4-H, hunting, and other school and church activities. Above all, we want to thank our Lord and Savior,
Jesus Christ, for His amazing grace.
