Fellow Cattleman,

I would like to sincerely thank you for considering our program as
your seedstock supplier. It is a great time to be in the Red Angus
breed as the demand for Red Angus replacement females is at
an all-time high. We are committed to a maternal philosophy
that allows us, as well as our customers, to be sustainable.

Our philosophy is simple – breed cattle with the commercial
producer in mind. EPDs certainly make up part of our selection
criteria. However, we will not sacrifi ce convenience traits to
attain them. We use EPDs as a tool to help breed balanced
Jordan, Kelli, cattle and will not use them as a marketing strategy of
Kam, Brynlee, Madi and Lana extremes.

Kam, The convenience traits are very important to us. We are
Brynlee, committed to producing functional, quiet, highly reproductive
Madi cattle. We like to produce and procure cattle from cow families
and
Lana who are proven producers. We do not tolerate bad disposition
and have a strict calving period to weed out any infertility.
We cull cows for teat size and mothering ability. Our goal is to
make high-quality females that produce at our place as well
as yours for years to come. We aim to do this without sacrifi cing
breed-leading performance. We feel that you can obtain
performance and muscle without increasing skeletal size to the
point where it affects body condition and frame size of your
mature cows.

The bulls in our program are culled for feet, disposition and
athleticism, and are guaranteed to be breeders. We are
committed to making balanced Red Angus cattle with breed
character and phenotype. The bulls have to have a bull
presence, be easy fl eshing and be balanced in their structural
design. The bulls are on a full vaccination protocol and will be
semen tested after the sale. We developed these bulls on a 48
mega cal ration for strictly growth and development purposes.
