WELCOME
Welcome cattlemen and cattlewomen,
Whether you are a long-time customer or a new attendee, we welcome you and thank you for your interest in our breeding program. What a
year it’s been. 2019 has been a challenging weather year, as many of you have dealt with. The extended winter weather in April made calving
diffi cult. We’ve had plenty of fi rsts this year including cutting silage and weaning calves in November. Fall also provided challenges with
cold, rainy and snowy weather at weaning time. All of these have been detrimental to post weaning gains, but through it all, our Gelbvieh and
Balancer cows performed well and have once again provided us with a strong set of bulls.
For 37 years we have continually selected for balanced traits with a special emphasis on eye appeal, performance, maternal traits and
docility. We have spent years selecting AI sires, purchasing top quality herdsires, doing embryo transfer to multiply our best genetics, and
visually appraising and culling the herd to bring you the best genetics possible. We believe the animals offered this year can satisfy our
commercial and purebred customers alike.
Feel free to contact us or visit our website, www.gustinsdiamondd.com for more information on the cattle. We would love to help you with
your selections and look forward to seeing you on sale day.
