2009 Buckskin Grade
Gelding 15.3 HH 1300 lbs.
Preacher is a 2009-model grade buckskin Friesian-cross geld-
ing. He stands 15.3 HH and weighs 1300 lbs. We have done
all aspects of ranch work on him from branding, gathering,
sorting and doctoring. You can track up on a cow, rope it and
step off to doctor. Preacher is a big, gentle giant who loves the affection
of people! He is very good in the pasture with other horses too. You can
catch him anywhere, jump on him bareback with just a rope around his
neck and ride him bridleless back to the barn. He is a great horse
to ride up and down the mountains. Preacher is sure footed in
the roughest of country and is also traffi c safe. He’s seen lots of
miles in the back country and along the roads. Preacher is also
broke to drive and is great to drive into town on Sunday to go
to church. We have taken him into Cody to the rodeo and ridden
him with the drill team – nothing bothers him. He has a ton of
heart and is willing to do anything you ask of him. He goes where
you point and is hassle free. In the arena, Preacher, has a lot of
movement and feel to him. He has all the Friesian action and style
but with the pretty buckskin color that makes him stand out in
a crowd. He stays broke with time off – just saddle and go; no

This is one handsome rascal. His name couldn’t be more fi t-
ting. Rascal is the entire package! He’s absolutely handmade,
gorgeous and has that soft, kind eye. He rides better than he
looks. Anything you want to do horseback, he will be your go-
to mount. Rascal will be gentle for anyone and everyone. Go saddle him
up and have some fun. He’s a cowy rascal too. He can hold the toughest cow in the sorting pens
and is catty moving and stylish looking holding one from the herd. Rascal has been used all
over our ranch and is handy in all aspects of ranch work. He has been
roped on in the pasture and out of the box. Rascal is an elegant mover and
very smooth riding. He’s stellar on the trails and will go right where you
send him. He’s a super fun and an easy-going, all-around gelding. He’s honest and is the same every
time you ride him – even with time off. He’s always gentle and has no silly business to him. Rascal
has been exposed to crazy dogs, loud gunfi re, busy traffi c, blowing tarps, pigs, buffalo and even a
camel. His disposition is the best and he loves attention. He will come running to gate when he sees
