On behalf of the North Dakota Red Angus Association, we would like to welcome you to the North Dakota Red
Select Sale. This sale brings together some of the top breeders in not just North Dakota, but across the country
where the lots are hand-picked and offered for sale. You also have the opportunity to purchase from and work
with some of the greatest people in the breed. Jeff Thomas has put an outstanding group of cattle together for
us. Buy with confidence in this sale.

We would love to have you join us for not only the sale but for our banquet Friday night as well. We are excited to have Tom Brink,
CEO of the Red Angus Association of America, as our guest speaker that night. I would also like to thank the team at Cow Camp
Promotions for putting up with all us consigners and putting together an outstanding catalog.

On behalf of myself and the consignors I would like to welcome you to the 2022 North Dakota Red Angus
Association Red Select Sale! It has been a pleasure to be involved with the development of this year’s sale.
The members of this association are seriously committed to offer you cattle and genetics from the top of their
programs. The programs presenting this offering host some to top production and bull sales in the land so take
advantage of them sharing the base of their program with you.

This year, the N.D. Red Angus Association and the N.D. Simmental Association have once again worked together in sharing the date
and facilities to present both sales on the same day. This has been a very impressive venue with an overflow crowd for both events –
which supports the testament of how well the two breeds of cattle and breeders can work together!

The current market trends are very positive. With calf prices stronger than last year, the outlook for the future is very promising. The
demand for Red Angus cattle both as breeding stock and feeder cattle is tremendously strong! The offering of this sale provides you
as buyers the opportunity to secure value-adding genetics that can advance your program significantly for the future.

If you are looking for females and genetics that can produce top-end individuals for both the commercial and seedstock industries,
this offering provides a lot of opportunities for you. The open heifers in the offering have some outstanding show heifer prospects for
Junior programs and the N.D. Red Angus provides an excellent opportunity for our youth with their State Fair Futurity program. These
open heifers are out of top end females and ET programs and will develop into great cows as well.

The sale will be broadcast on DV Auction for those that may want to bid online. We will make available any updates and additional info
on the N.D. Red Angus website: ndredangus.com. There will also be videos of many of the lots available on many of the individual
consignor sites as well.
