Lot 6 is another outstanding Epitome son out of one of my favorite cows. She brings a
top bull to the sale every year. This bull is a twin and we were getting
so many twins we left both calves on the cow. She weaned off almost
LOT 6 1,500 pounds of calf between the two and bred back to be one of the
fi rst cows to calve this year. Check out that picture of the dam. She
was pictured this summer after having the twins with both calves on
her! This is one outstanding bull! Don’t overlook him because he is
a twin.

Lot 7 is another outstanding Rollin Deep son. If you want calves that
come out small and grow, this is your guy. How many calves are born
at 70 pounds and wean off over 800? Not very many. Sometimes
LOT 7 when I see a calf with this much performance, it’s hard to recommend
him for heifers but with a CED of 11 and -3.8 for BW, I think he will be
just fi ne. He also is in the top 3 % for Milk EPD.

Lot 8 is out of one of the most sought-after sire groups in the country right now. Hard
Drive semen is very hard to fi nd if not impossible, and he is no longer producing. They
are popular because they come out small and grow like crazy and, to top it off, the
LOT 8 females are outstanding. I also have to comment on the Hard Drive calves’ disposition
because I have never seen a sire with such docile offspring. They truly become like pets.
This guy has a big spread from -1 BW to 112 WW.
