Ridge Traveler 5412 is a bull we thought stood out in the 2016 Flat Water Gang sale. We
RIDGE TRAVELER 5412 studied the ancestors pretty hard and liked his fl eshing ability, fl uid movement, (i.e. Trav-
eler), extensive capacity and aggressive breeding ability. He may not rewrite the books
in the EPD section but he has tremendous length with solid traditional angus breed character. His maternal line is impeccable and his sire is a proven calving ease bull. We used this
bull natural service and AI heavily in 2016. Semen available.

The fi rst time we saw offspring of Red Flying K Max 159Y, it was on our agenda to use
RED FLYING K MAX 159Y him in some form. Fortunately, with savvy partners - Arrowsmith Ranch and Sandbur
Ridge, we were able to own a semen interest and will be using this outcross proven ma-
ternal bull extensively. His sons and daughters have been high sellers in production and special sales in the US and Canada. Max is an attractive sire of moderate frame, productive,
structurally correct progeny with his generous capacity and mobility. He fi ts our game plan of producing sustainable functional cows and bulls to advance the great things the Red
Angus breed is known for. Semen is off the market until 2018 after a limited offering was sold this past January.
