Welcome to our 34th Annual Production Sale!

We sincerely appreciate the loyalty of our friends and customers for supporting our program.

Red Angus has been our breed of choice for 51 years. We’ve watched it grow from a nearly invisible breed to one
of the most prominent in the industry. This popularity can be directly attributed to Red Angus Core Tenets which
recommend that cattle are produced for genetic and performance merit without artifi cial enhancement, and with
a devotion to customer profi tability.

Our programs are dedicated to help our customers capitalize on market premiums. Through Total Herd
Reporting, FCCP, comparing large contemporary groups, DNA testing, carcass ultrasounding and common-sense
selection for relevant traits, we strive to insure extra value for our customers. The Top Dollar Angus Program is
among the recent premium incentives offered.

In addition to selecting for EPD-measured traits, our ranches have a long history of scoring and selecting for
foot and udder structure. Udder scores are taken when
the calf is born, a time when function is most critical.

For customers wanting age-advantaged bulls, Koester
Red Angus offers a nice selection of virgin 18-month-old
bulls developed on their Steele, ND, ranch.

All of the cattle are guaranteed breeders with the
bulls having to pass a breeding soundness and semen
evaluation. Heifers are guaranteed open and ready
to breed. We do recommend insurance particularly on
yearling bulls when they’re used in multiple breeding
groups with older bulls.
