Back to my Roots…. This AI calf is out my Dad’s (Stanford Valnes) GHF Husker Mark that was collected
in 1971 (glass ampoules). He turned this bull out with 90 cows for 28 days all by himself and got 60 of
the cows bred…even breeding 13 cows in one day. He never left the water hole as the cows came to him,
he bred them once and then went to the next cow. The following year at the end of breeding season the
Lot 57 bull was injured and had to be sold weighing 2550 lbs off grass. He was quite the bull!! I left the horns on
this calf as I think of my Dad quite often as he only had horned Herefords. He was a cowman that didn’t
need EPDs, just a bull that could and should breed heifers or cows and an eye that could tell you if it would work. This Bull will catch your eye, he has a red neck, lots of hair and hide, and will get the job done! The
dam of this bull is a red neck, tight uddered, small teated cow that came from Lilybrook Herefords in Alberta.

Also out of TH 33N 719T Victor 422B ET, that has a lot of length and style. He is an April 2nd calf out of a
Lilybrook female as well.
