A chestnut gelding that has been on the Sperry Ranch since he was a 3-year-old. He is
gentle. He has been the whole family’s mount. Granny, Kolby and Kanon ride him the
most. He is a heel and breakaway horse. We run the fl ag race, pole bend, run barrels
and tie goats with this all-around horse. Kolby has drug hundreds of calves to the
fi re at brandings. Robert won a heeling saddle on him at the Across The Line Roping
Series in 2013. Turtle was raised on the same ranch as Bob, Kayla Nelson Spickelmier’s goat tying
horse that she won the college fi nals on, Pepsi, Shaye Koester’s horse that she ranched and 4-H’d on,
and Cola, Kaycee Nelson’s breakaway horse.

This is a ranch-raised red roan gelding that can travel. Little B will out walk most
horses in the country – just ask Kolby. We heel on him and Kolby fl ag races and ropes
on this guy. He has been to many brandings and drug lots of calves to the fi re. Little B
has a great big heart and no quit in him. His sire was a calf horse and his dam was a
heel and break away horse.
