Rose 601 is a tough one to let go with her dam being a foundation cow that we bought. She has
never given us a heifer until two years ago with 601. Her dam has a 112.4 MPPA on six calves.
Lot 32 Rose 601 has always been a crowd favorite with her power and capacity. She is one of the deepest
females we have ever raised. She is bred to a Samurai son out of a JDRA Vaquero daughter.
Pasture exposed to GM Red Velvet 503 (3477974) from 5/22/17 to 7/17/17. Ultrasounded
safe for a 3/2/18 calf.

Lot 33 Queen Chappie 718 comes from the Chappie cow family that is known for easy fl eshing and great
milk with high-quality udders. 718 is sired by Larson Sun King and we have had great success with
his offspring. His females are hard to fi nd. 718 exhibits excellent feet and legs with great thickness
and easy fl eshing. Her dam is in our top three for docility and this heifer is going to be no excep-
tion with her nice disposition.

Mountain Mist 734 combines Red Chief, Sakic, and Mtn Sign into one powerful package. Her dam
has been a no-miss cow for us. She has raised a heifer that brought $5,250 at the Red Select Sale,
a $10,000 Sun King son on our fi rst annual bull sale, and there was a set of twin heifers sold out of
her on a female sale that brought $3,750 and $4,500. This is a tough one to let go since we don’t
3SCC Lakota W178 have a female out of her in our herd. Her sire is a 5L Mtn Sign son that we raised out of a Sakic
daughter. He is a bull that has thrown very consistent calves with great depth of body and excellent
GM Sun King 610 eye appeal. Mountain Mist is one you have to check out on sale day!
