OPEN HEIFERS

It is tough to pick out heifers, open or bred. Dave’s list and my list tend to be different as
his has twice as many on as mine does. I would keep everything if he would let me but he
doesn’t so here are the open heifers out of the heart of our herd. Our open heifers in the
sale have not been pushed at all. They are being fed alongside our other heifers and all
our steers. We are feeding for weight gain and body growth but not to over condition our
females. These open heifers have had all of their shots and are ready for breeding season.
They have had 2 doses of 7-Way, Somnus, pinkeye, anthrax and Bovishield plus they all
have their Bangs tags so they are ready to go out and work for you!

Queen Abby 710 is a long spined, deep bodied heifer that has 11 EPDs in the top 1/3 of the breed!

Sweety 739 comes from an easy keeping dam out of the great Mojito bull. She is crossed with
Mountain Sign and Sakic which are two great cow makers. We have always admired the power and
thickness she has.
