COMMERCIAL HEIFERS
The commercial heifers are on-site, and on the same development program as
our replacement heifers. They will have passed a pre-breeding exam, received all
vaccinations (respiratory and reproductive), and are ready to breed. Both sets of
heifers come from programs that understand the importance of breeding great
females on the bottom line. Beyond those females that are built to perform on the
ranch, both sets have the ability to perform in the feedyard and on the rail. Don’t
miss out on the opportunity to own a set or, even better, all of them.
Lot 100 – Lazy H Ranch commercial heifers
20 head of March-born heifers will sell “gate cut” in 10 head groups with
option on all.
We have had the opportunity to sell these heifers for the past few years and once
again the Harms family brought a high quality set. The heifers available here are
out of herd sires that have a HerdBuilder average in the top 2% for the breed.
These are deep-bodied heifers that will be a good addition to your herd that have
longevity and make a positive impact in the beef supply system. We have had the
opportunity to feed previous years’ calves; and you or the feedyard you sell to will
be happy that you made the investment in these heifers.
