MLK CRK Advocate is a bull that we kept out of our 2015 sale to replace his sire. When
you look at his individual performance I don’t know if we have ever raised an
ADVOCATE animal that hit all the marks like he did. When you study his pedigree you will
4304 fi nd that his sire is a maternal brother to 5L Bourne that has done so well for
the 5L program. His dam produced the second-high-selling bull in our 2016
sale going to Westphal Red Angus in Grass Range, MT. His calves perform
very well from weaning to yearling and carcass as well. His picture was taken
10 days prior to pulling him from cows. We had put him in with 57 head of
wet 2-year-olds with heifer calves and he had settled over 50 of them. His
only fl aw was when we pulled bulls this summer and he thought he could
pick a fi ght with Legend 2069. It didn’t end well with his hind leg broke above
MLK CRK the hock. We have him at World West Sires trying to collect semen on him.
SHEBA 1014, Progeny will be limited in the future due to the semen that we have on hand.
