Colonel is a gentle ranch gelding. We have gathered and sorted pairs on this guy.
Inexperienced riders have ridden him to gather at branding time and got along great
with him. He stops, spins and does fl ying lead changes. Colonel is soft mouthed and
willing to learn.

If you are looking for that hunk of a horse to make a statement on, as well as for
heads to turn as you ride by at the AQHA shows, ropings and even on the trail, you
need to check out Cajun. We have raised Cajun from a weanling and we are so very
proud – as well as a little sad – to offer him for sale. Born and bred in Montana and
spending winters in Arizona, he has been hauled and won on at major roping events,
seasoned all over and seen the sights. He has also been heeled, tied off on and has
successfully been shown in the ranch horse competitions. If you like to trail, ranch
ride, cut, barrel race or just enjoy a beautiful horse, Cajun is for you. Hop on him
bareback and ride off into the sunset. Quick with his feet and broke, he carries his
head where is should be, has a good neck rein and moves off your leg with respect.
He is one cool dude to work cattle on and will cut and hold one on his belly. Cajun is
tried and true with a lot of heart and a world of talent! Outside on the ranch he has
been ridden extensively on the trail along with being packed on in the mountains. He
is very smooth to ride, sure footed, and knows where his feet are in rough terrain. He
rides away from the barn and is fi ne alone, crosses all types of water – rivers, creeks,
ponds, ditches – good with bridges, tarps and slickers. Will stand quietly to mount ei-
ther from a block or the fence, also will lower his head to bridle. He will stand tied all
day quietly, gets along well with other horses, hauls, clips and is good with his feet.
Has a very pretty trot and a good walk, lopes collected and has a solid lead change.
Don’t miss out on this big boy! He is sound and UTD on worming, dental and farrier.
