dream about a golden palomino, and the icing on the cake – he’s a PRINCE! For the
second year we’re excited to donate 50% of the proceeds from Prince to the Mon-
tana High School Rodeo Association. These kids work hard in their respected events.
Their families dedicate a lot of time and money to mount them and then to go down
the road. We are humbled to be able to give back to our community in supporting
the future of our industry. What a better way to help them and then give Prince a
wonderful new home! Prince was raised at our neighboring ranch in Arizona, the
Maughn Ranch, also one of the largest ranches in Arizona. They breed top-end
performance and ranch horses. Prince himself is very well made, with a good sized
hoof, hip and hind leg. He has a quiet, easy demeanor, can be turned out with other
horses or stalls quietly, is good to catch and is easy going. He has been handled a lot,
bathed worked in the round pen, hauls in the trailer and has had his feet trimmed
regularly. He has also been worked around and seen cattle. Ready to excel in many
disciplines and we are excited see to his success with his new home! Sound and UTD

Sitting on the front porch in the evening, sipping on some of papa’s smooth whiskey,
the warm feeling of a hard day’s work is done. Well that is Whiskey for us! This
very outstanding grand-son of the legendary Paddy’s Irish Whiskey is like our old
caddy on the trails – smooth traveler, laid back and pleasing. Rough terrain, up and
down, creeks – NO problem. Whiskey is a very honest ranch gelding, branding,
doctoring cattle, and he will run one down in the pasture and gather himself, then
just walk on in a blink of an eye. With his disposition we believe he would make a
very true mounted shooting horse, as he has quite a bit of handle and can handle
tight situations. Making him into quite a nice head horse has been easy – he is so
intelligent and broke he really wouldn’t take much before you can start hauling him.
Oh, and did we forgot to mention he’s a looker? This handsome gelding has strong
conformation, a big hip and great bone! Nothing is better than a glass of smooth
“Whiskey.” Sound and UTD on worming, dental and farrier.
