This neat horse we call Jalapeno! He stands 14.2 HH and had great confi rmation. For
a younger horse, Jalapeno has an extended résumé. He was used all last summer
to care for yearling cattle on grass. We used him a bunch in rougher country last fall
during shipping season. Most of last winter he spent at the cutting trainer’s and was
used to turn back during cutting practice. This spring we used him during calving and
recently have been taking him to the brandings. Jalapeno has a great way of moving
and feels really good underneath you. He has a soft mouth with a great handle. He
will lock on and really watch a cow. He is no stranger to dragging the calving sled
either after the brutal spring we had this year. He is good to rope on and travels good
outside and watches where he puts his feet. He doesn’t resist or hesitate when you
ask him to go someplace when riding. He is a very personable, quiet-natured horse
to be around. He could go so many directions. I feel he is talented enough to do
whatever you choose. Ranch versatility, roping, ranching, mounted shooting or ranch
and trail riding. He stands good to bridle, saddle, mount and shoe. He also loads
in the trailer good and stands tied quietly. If you are looking for your next horse to
