Bones is a gorgeous, soggy-made bay gelding standing just
a hair over 15 HH. He is a registered AQHA 2011 model with
impeccable shape, eye appeal and athletic ability. He has
several of the outstanding sires of the Quarter Horse world right on his papers and defi nitely lives up to their great
names! Bones has been a fun project for us to get started on the ranch and mold into quite the arena horse as well. He’s much
too handsome to keep hidden in the Sandhills and we are proud to offer this gorgeous gelding at this elite sale! While Bones
is not meant for a kid or beginner rider, he darn sure doesn’t disappoint a rider who can match his abilities. He could defi nitely
grow into being a reliable mount for less-experienced riders, but for now, he is fl ourishing under an experienced hand and
really showing all he has to offer! We truly feel he will be a pro-caliber rodeo mount with very minimal effort. He is the kind that
comes by his athleticism and ability naturally! Bones is the type of horse that will turn heads wherever he goes – one that just
seems to have a presence that nobody can let go unnoticed. Bones is a powerhouse of a horse that really is built to last and
has proven himself quite versatile in every situation we have needed him. He has a huge hip, big, strong shoulders, the cutest
head and softest eye you would ever ask for! Bones is very much a point-and-shoot type horse and loves a good day’s work
on the ranch or in the arena. He has that ranch-horse stride that really says he is ready to get to work. You can rest assured that
you will have a horse who is profi cient both in the arena AND outside. The kind you can gather a pasture on in the morning and
load up that evening for a little fun in the practice pen. So often a horse is either a ranch horse or a performance horse, and with
Bones, you get both in one gorgeous bay package! He is perfecting his maneuvers in the arena and is ready to fi nd his career
path. He will work a gate for you, situate you for a great shot on the head or heel side, lope a gorgeous circle, lay down a stop
a reiner would be proud of, or just being a good looking mount to check pastures on. We have lightly started Bones logging
in preparation for tie down roping as well as headed and heeled on him behind the Heel-O-Matic and he really shows a lot of
promise! We hope to have him profi cient on live steers and calves and performing well by sale time. He has all the hard work
done and is ready to be seasoned and perfected to your liking! If you are on the hunt for a serious rodeo prospect, Bones is the
