Here is a true Montana original! Redwood is a 4-year-old gelding that is as strong and
handsome as a redwood tree. His red roan color is as pretty as a Montana sunset
and he is as gentle as he is kind! His bloodlines trace back to some of the great
foundation performance horses – High Rolling Roany, Hancocks Blue Boy, Mr Pete
Oswald. This gelding is bred to last. We have owned several siblings to Redwood and
they have always treated us right. This gelding has seen life on the ranch, doctoring,
branding, sorting, etc. He will be ready for a full day’s work, or just as happy hitting
the trails for a leisurely ride. He has had a slow, soft and correct start. Redwood will
be heading steers out of the box and is the perfect size to haul down the road as
a head horse prospect. He stands 15.2 HH, weighs 1250 lbs and has a good solid
