Udder scores have been used to cull and select cattle at Leland Red Angus and Koester Red Angus for many years. Scores are
taken within 12 hours of calving by the same person to insure consistency. Scores less than 5 are considered unacceptable,
and those individuals are not kept in our herd. This year, we are including the dam’s udder scores in the footnotes. These will be
