P. 2
Welcome to the 2nd annual Triangle M Red Angus bull sale! We look
forward to visiting with everyone and are hopeful you fi nd a bull to
fi t your operation. We run a commercial herd of mostly Red Angus
cows north of Watford City, North Dakota along the Missouri River.
We have been incorporating Artifi cial Insemination into our program
for many years, starting with my grandpa and my dad. We keep all
our replacement heifer calves and background them to breed. Every
fall or early winter we have commercial bred heifers for sale. These
heifers are both home raised and from nice sets we have been buy-
ing from neighbors. The commercial side has helped us understand
that the strength of your herd starts and fi nishes with the cow.
In 2017, we had the opportunity to get into the registered business
by buying a nice set of cows from Kurt Freolich of Airo Red Angus.
Since then, we have been able to add some great females from
Leland Red Angus, DK Red Angus, Barenthsen-Bullinger Red Angus,
Lone Tree Red Angus and Cargo Stock Farm. The bulls in the sale
this year come from six different sires that we believe are extremely
good bulls. Our AI sires include KCC Excellance 139-774 and Schuler
Rebel 0029X. Our natural sires include BB Renaissance 8067, Forster
Widescreen B156, Leland Excell 6744, and Severance Evolve 12D.
All bulls are 50K tested with an enhanced set of EPDs, as well as
parent verifi ed. A handful of bulls qualify for the Top Dollar Angus
program, meaning those bulls are in the top 25% of the breed for
growth and carcass traits. Those bulls are identifi ed within the cata-
log by the Top Dollar Angus logo found by the lot information. We
hope to keep improving the genetics of our herd to bring you the
best bulls we possibly can.
We are also very eager to announce
the purchase of STRA General 006 from
Twedt Red Angus, who is a true female
maker coming from the Bieber Prim-
rose cow line and the HRR Colleen cow
line. We cannot wait to utilize him in
our herd. Thank you for your interest in
our program and we look forward to a
bright future in the Red Angus business.
