Ferdinand is as good of a gelding that we have had the opportunity
to swing a leg over. He checks all the boxes of being a legend! His
conformation, demeanor and soft, kind eye is what everyone is looking
for. He stands 15 HH and weighs 1200 lbs., and is the color of the sun
– palomino! He is suitable for any level of rider, beginner to elite. He loves to please
and wants to be your friend. He is a fi nished head horse, breakaway and calf horse.
Ferdinand has been hauled to World Series and jackpot ropings in the heading. He
has really good timing, running to cattle and handles cattle excellent allowing your
heelers to have a high percentage throw. He has been used on the ranch in the
branding pen heading and heeling calves or using the norfork.He has been used to
sorting and gathering. Ferdinand is extremely confi dent on the trails crossing water,
bridges and logs. Riding him in the mountains is what Montana is all about! This
is a very special gelding that is extremely hard to fi nd and anyone will appreciate.

and only One Time Pepto, earner of $331,097 and a producer of over
$17,000,000 offspring earnings. Hooey’s dam, June Bug Dually, was no
stranger to the winner’s circle herself, earning $225,624 and producing
in excess of $80,000. It’s absolutely no mistake Hooey possesses the athleticism he
does. Hooey was started in a reined cow horse program where he was an earner
of $3,271 – 2015 Finalist NRCHA Non-Pro Futurity; in AQHA earning 0.5 versatility
ranch horse cutting (Level 3) point in Amateur Competition. Hooey is that “one in a
million” combination. He’s got a fancy turn around, beautiful deep stop, extremely
cowy, but has had the outside miles as well. Hooey is THE GO-TO on the ranch. He’s had cattle doctored off of him on the wheat
pasture, calves drug to the fi re during branding season, and gathered in tough West Texas country. Hooey has been taken to town

and every time you catch him. We’ve rode Hooey every where on the ranch and taken him on the trails in the Palo Duro Canyon
