SPOTTED DRAFT X QUARTER HORSE
We are very honored and excited to be presenting Buckeyes
Ranger. He is a 15.2HH Draft Cross gelding. He is out of a Spotted
Draft stallion and a Quarter Horse mare. He is one of the best put
together Draft Crosses that we have ever had. He was started out west with a solid
foundation that shows in his easy going temperament. He was incredibly easy to
put through our program and loved learning all the fun things that we taught him.
He can be ridden English or Western and has a great neck rein. No matter where
we have taken him, he has always settled in with ease and rides off like he has
been there his whole life. He loads quietly onto any trailer and will stand quietly
tied to the the trailer when you are taking breaks during your ride. Ranger has been
ridden by several different levels of riders and will always take care of his rider. He
is a horse that you can trust to put your fi rst time rider on and know they will be
safe. He goes out alone from the farm without any issues and you can ride him in
a group anywhere you choose to ride. We have kept him out and in the stable and
he does not have any bad habits. Ranger does not need to be in any solid program
to always be the same horse when you get him out. No matter how little or how
much you ride him, you would never know the difference. If you would like to learn
