Fast Cat’ is a 7-year-old, super talented, pretty AQHA gray mare! This mare
is well on her way to being a fi nished rope horse. She scores, can really run
and rates. You can head and heel steers on her, but I’d say she wants to be a
breakaway horse or even a calf horse if someone wanted to put in the extra
time. She’s strong, fast, smart, and I think she’d work a rope pretty naturally.
She won money last winter in the Breakaway here in Arizona. She was used
extensively on a ranch before I bought her – branding, gathering and sorting
cattle. She is no stranger to a long day’s work! This mare has a ton of athletic
ability, is quick footed and smart. She is out of some old-school, foundation
run on the bottom side and goes back to High Brow Cat on the top side. I’ve
ridden her many miles this summer and have roped a lot of steers on her both
ends. We’ve broke in muleys and have roped a bunch of calves on her too.
She scores, breaks hard and fast to the pen, cows, rates, and has an awesome
stop! She really has a cool feel. Will not take your throw away! She loads and
hauls in a stock trailer with a bunch of geldings or throw her in the one-horse.
She is easy to catch, easy to shoe and not marish. Fast Cat has all the talent
you need in one to win! Rope on her now, raise some colts out of her later.
