WELCOME

Hello and welcome to our Production Sale.

First off, we would like to thank all our past customers for their support
in our program and welcome any new customers. We feel extremely
blessed that so many of you have put your trust in our program. I would
also like to thank my family and friends for everything they do for our
operation.

We really enjoy getting to know our customers and their operations. I
truly enjoy seeing past bulls sold and their offspring. I also enjoy getting
calls, texts, pictures, and a lot of snapchats from our customers on how
everything is going. Our customers are the reason we are in this busi-
ness, and we have a lot of great customers who are fun to work with.

I feel this year we have put together our most consistent set of bulls
Lisa, Taylor, Brad and Collinaylor, Brad and Collin

from the front pen to the back pen. This pen of bulls had an average ac-
tual BW of 92 lbs. They were weaned on 9/5/21 and averaged 801 lbs.
From September 5 – December 12 (98-day feed test) they gained 4.06
lbs./day. You just can’t ask for much more.

As you read through the footnotes on these bulls you will realize we
are very proud of the females behind them. All but one bull are out
of dams that were born and raised at our ranch and I take great pride
in that. 25% of this pen of bulls are out of fi rst calf heifers and every
one of them bred right back on time. The American Gelbvieh Associa-
tion recognizes “Dam of Merit” cows that meet strict selection criteria
including early puberty and conception, regular calving intervals, and
above average weaning weights on at least three calves. Only 5.3% of
active cows in the Gelbvieh breed reach this status. We had 13 of our 44
eligible cows (30%) awarded “Dam of Merit” status. Our females are our
foundation and its nice to see that they are doing their jobs.
