E2 Red Angus – Welcome
Greetings from the Ellefson Ranch
As a family operation this last year has brought us much joy with the addition
of a darling little cowgirl by the name of Witten Rose Ellefson. Our 5-year-old
son Wesson has proved to be a good helper around the house with the baby
as well as the ranch with gate duties, etc. In the last year, Jamie’s parents
have blessed us with the opportunity to start purchasing land from them
which makes her the fourth-generation operator on this place. This way of life
is truly one my wife and I cherish very much.
Now enough about us let’s talk about the cattle! We continue to focus on
maternally driven Red Angus cattle that offer fertility, longevity, and sound-
ness while maintaining docility and growth. A Red Angus program is only as
good as it’s culling process and to that I can assure you we make no conces-

fed or on a hot ration, which leaves them in a more honest body condition for
your viewing.

Mike started with us last fall and brings a wealth of knowledge on stockman-
ship and horsemanship to the ranch. He is also an AI technician and jack of
all trades around here. We are extremely happy to have Mike around and en-
joy his positive “get it done” attitude. Mike and his wife Sandy reside in Long
Lake and enjoy spending their time with family and friends.
