HRR Blockana 013 originates from the infamous Blockana cow family from Feddes Red Angus. Her legacy will be her calving ease, maternal strength, longevity, and
an udder structure that held true through the years while being passed on to her daughters. HRR Blockana 013 was a prolific embryo producer and there will be more
offspring to come. Phenotypically sound footed, straight topped with a big barrel, she epitomizes the kind of cow that could hold her own in the less than forgiving
pine hills of Northwestern SD. She posts a 90 BW, 104 WW, 104 YW, 116 IMF, 106 REA and a 104 MPPA. There are 5 consecutive generations of dams represented
here with an MPPAs over 101. Here is an opportunity to advance your cow herd with sons sired by some of the top maternal bulls in the breed and a foundation cow

HRR ZEPPELIN 1208 is the last natural calf out of HRR Blockana 013, one of our favorite
LOT 1 donor cows. His phenotypic outline is hard to miss with his added length, straight top,
deep rib and overall muscle. I don’t know if we have raised one as complete as HRR
ZEPPELIN 1208. His dam was badly injured last spring so she came home and was put
into our ET program. This calf consequently was taken out of the contemporary group
given the change in environment – but HRR Blockana 013, given her injury, did a heck
of a job raising this calf. He continued to develop well post weaning as well with a 2.96
ADG. This is a moderate-framed bull that should add style and length into his offspring
and pass on the maternal value of his dam. High marks in the EPDs for Herdbuilder, milk
