I would like to thank everyone for the continued interest and support of our

a very dry year. With the drought this year, the efficiency of our cows was

special treatment and were still expected to raise a high-quality calf and

Northern Lites Red Angus cow herd excelled in the less than desirable conditions of this summer. Our
calf weights were on par with previous years and breed up was similar to a

Sortable Data: We believe in an easy-keeping functional female that can maintain body
condition during our harsh winters and excel in our summers. We emphasize
good foot and udder structure; anything that fails to meet our standards will
be culled out of the herd. With that being said, I think that you can buy with
confidence in that the bulls you purchase from us will help move your pro-
gram forward no matter the conditions that mother nature gives you.

We start calving around the 15th of March, and the bulls were weaned this
year around the 1st of October. The bulls were fed at Bruce Hould’s in Malta
again this year. They are fed a high roughage diet and have performed very
well, gaining over 3 pounds per day. I put an extra emphasis on foot struc-
ture and temperament in the bulls.

The sale will be at the Glasgow Stockyards again this year. I would like to
thank Iva, Jake, Cody and the staff at Glasgow Stockyards for helping get the
sale organized. We have also decided to use DVAuction, along with Cattle
USA for online bidding. If you choose to bid with DVAuction, please sign up a
couple days ahead so you have time to get registered.
