CALL ME MISS BLUE
Bo is a super fancy registered Blue Roan American Quarter Horse As-
sociation gelding. He is 4 years old and stands 16 hands. He is stout,
strong and well boned. Bo has correct conformation for his breed
with a gorgeous head and kind eye. I would rate his temperament at a
2 only due to his young age. I purchased him as an untouched ranch
raised colt off of his dam, Wyos Miss Blue. His sire is Blue Hancock Cowboy. He was bred by
Dick Van Pelt part of the original “Source” of the Blue Valentine/Blue Roan bloodlines. He is
branded on his right hip with the Van Pelt L7 hot brand. Bo was started as a two year old by
Zach Curran, Curran Equine, LLC and progressed very well through his training. He was then
ridden by Cole Tully Performance Horses as a three year old. Bo has an eager to please, kind
personality. He loves attention and having a job to do. Bo enjoys people and attention but is
not pushy or in your face. His solid, inquisitive mind and natural athletic ability enable him to
be a quick and willing partner when learning a new skill. He currently knows how to bow and is
connected enough to follow at liberty. Bo has experience as a ranch horse in Wyoming trailing
and gathering cattle. He was used in the Colorado grasslands roping renegade stray cows. He
also did well at a team sorting clinic held by Shelly Fitzgerald in Cheyenne, WY. He has been on
multiple camping adventures from Wyoming’s Big Horn Mountains to Florida’s sandy trails. He
is sure footed and excels at riding in the rugged mountains as well on the smooth beaches of
the Atlantic. Bo has an exceptionally smooth, sought after long walk and can cover a lot of ground effortlessly. Bo has been ridden
with decorations in a Christmas Parade, crossed the I-75 land bridge in Ocala and in the ocean at Butler Beach. Bo is a great
horse with endless potential to excel at roping, ranch work, driving, jumping and trail riding. He stands still for mounting and will
move over so you can mount from almost anything. Bo will easily open and close gates for you, loads and trailers well, stands for
the vet and farrier and is good with other horses. Bo is safe and sound with no blemishes or bad habits. If you are looking for a
beautiful young partner to go in any direction your dreams take you, Bo is the one to take you there. Bo is currently located near
Ocala, FL and can be inspected anytime prior to the sale. If you would like more information, please contact Barbara Burns at 307-
