Spoon Pep Cudo aka Dusty is a black 15 hand, 5-year-old gelding.
Dusty’s mother, Alexis San Cudo, is the granddaughter of the infa-
mous Doc’s Hickory, who is an Equi-stat elite earner of $21,000,000. Doc’s Hickory
has many accomplishments, AQHA High Point Performance Horse, AQHA Reserve
High Point Performance Horse, ROM Performance, NCHA money-earner, AQHA High
Point Cutting Stallion, #4 All-Time Leading Cutting Sire, #6 Leading Reined Cowhorse Sire, NRHA
Leading Sire, A Leading Sire Of Performance ROM, Sire Of The Earners Of Over $15,900,000, and
the Sire of 5 AQHA World Champions. Dusty is a grandson of He’s a Peptospoonful, who is an
earner of over $72,000 in the cutting pen. His offspring have won close to $3.5 million. Dusty is a
great grandson of the well known Peptoboonsmal, who has won over $180,000 in the cutting pen
as a 3-and 4-year-old. Peptoboonsmals offspring earnings across all disciplines exceed $20 mil-
lion. Dusty’s other great grandad is Smart Little Lena, who needs no introduction as he is an NCHA Triple Crown Champion cutting horse
and is the sire of many other champion cutting horses. Smart Little Lena was inducted to both AQHA and NCHA Hall of Fame. Dusty was started and has experience
in the cutting pen, he has also been used outside. This horse is cowy, athletic, and gentle. All he wants to do is please you and works very hard to do just that. He
has drug calves, roped and doctored cattle outside, put cow/calf pairs out, and sorted many cattle in the pens. There’s nothing you can’t do on him. He’s a lot of fun
to ride. He also has had the dummy roped off him some and has been started on slow steers in the arena. It wouldn’t take much for this horse to go in any direction
you want. He’s laid back but is there to do his job when called upon. No buck, loads in the trailer, and stands for farrier. He would be perfect for any level of rider, from
kids to experienced riders. For more information, please call.
