Toes is a 7-year-old 14.3-1/2 HH, pretty buckskin gelding that has a lot
of roan color especially in his mane and tail. He is a sound, safe, and
solid family type horse that has no issues. He is easy to catch and does
well in a stall or in the pasture with other horses. He is excellent to shoe
and he loads, clips, and bathes easily. He would fit many different level of riders and
will effortlessly lope around and change leads, stop, and roll back. He excels at cattle
work, is very cowy and naturally wants to watch a cow. He is a favorite for our kids to
ride whether out on the trail, moving cattle, or just playing in the arena. He never goes
any faster than asked and stays soft in the bridle. He stands patiently for the kids to
climb up on him or they can step him up to an object and jump on. We have used him
for all phases of ranch work and he has spent many hours penning back cattle at the
stockyards. He is a solid heel horse with a lot cow and a big stop. Has been hauled
and jack-potted on and he stays quiet in the box with minimal scoring. Merada O Laney is his sire, who has earned 284 Open
and Amateur Performance points in FQHR. Toes is a grandson of Cats Merada who is a money earner of $177,900 in NCHA and
Laney O Lena earning $48,834 in NCHA and AQHA. He’s a great grandson of High Brow Cat, Merada Lena, Doc O’Lena, and
Laney Doc. High Brow Cat is the NCHA-AQHA sire of the year for 10 consecutive years, 2003 thru 2012, with offspring earning
over $70 million. In 1978, Doc O’Lena himself was syndicated for $2.1 million – at that time a record for the cutting horse in-
dustry. Great grandmother, Laney Doc, was a money earner of $221,332 and in 2014 Equi-Stat has her ranked at #3 for top dam
lifetime cutting stats. On the bottom side, Wyo Blue Chips was shown in FQHR with a combined performance points of 142.
Toes is a very friendly and gentle gelding that is a pleasure to be around. He is a horse that the whole family will enjoy. Don’t
