Angus Customers and Friends,
It sure looked like spring was coming in a timely manner, but as we all know the North Dakota weather can through a punch
at us, and it sure did. Fortunately, as ranchers we muddle our way through and learn the best ways to protect our cattle in all
conditions. We’d like to invite you and your family to our 35th annual bull sale. Our world around us has a lot going on but
one thing remains steady, as ranchers and farmers we stick together and are dedicated to producing good, quality beef to feed

America and those around us.
On sale day, Wednesday, May 11th, the bulls will be penned in smaller groups outside with room for our customers to view them
safely. A complimentary supper will be served starting at 5:00 p.m., and the sale will start at 6:00. If you would like to preview

the bulls prior to sale day, you can see them at www.dvauction.com .
Our bull offering consists of our herd sires including: EB Recharge 0230, HAF Appearance 7040, S Powerpoint 8520, and
Spring Valley Outside 4615, as well as AI sires that include: Sydgen KCF Gavel 8361, Kesslers Commodore 6516, and other
calving-ease bulls suitable for heifers. These bulls have been fed a high-roughage ration of silage, corn, chopped alfalfa, mineral
and protein concentrate designed by J & R Feeds to encourage growth and muscle development while cutting
back excessive fat to ensure longevity for our customers.
If any one wishes to view the bulls prior to sale day or if you have any questions, give
us a call or stop by the ranch and take a look. If you cannot make the sale day, we offer
confidential phone bids or you can contact Vern Frey at 701-721-0344 or Kirby Goettsch
at 605-380-3939 any time prior to the sale day or on sale day. As a convenience to our
customers, the sale will be broadcast with opportunity for live bidding at www.dvauction.com
