From top professionals to toddlers, everyone loves Pancho! He is
everything you could ask for in a partner. Stunningly handsome from
a royal family, athletic yet gentle, well-traveled, gainfully employed,
and of course – he loves long walks on the beach. The only problem
is ... he’s broke, broke, broke. Pancho is a 6-year-old red roan AQHA
gelding measuring 15.1HH and weighing in at 1080 lbs. He keeps the world’s
greatest Quarter Horses on his papers. Pancho is by the 6666’s stallion, Bet Hesa
Cat, who is an NCHA OPEN WORLD CHAMPION and sire of World Champions.
The legend himself, Buster Welsh, chose to show Bet Hesa Cat in Ft. Worth. Bet
Hesa Cat’s mother is arguably the best mare in history, Bet Yer Blue Boons (World
Champion and Million Dollar Producer). Pancho’s dam is a Texas A&M-bred mare
that puts tried-and-true greats on Pancho’s papers including the one and only
Peppy San Badger. To top it off, Pancho wears the Texas A&M brand on his hip making him literally a walking episode of
Yellowstone. He started life as a reined cowhorse. He is very cowy and knows all of the maneuvers. Pancho will lope nice cir-
cles, spin and slide stop ... bridleless. He is a top ranch horse and has roped, doctored, sorted and loaded thousands of head
of cattle in West Texas. Most recently, he has been hauled as a professional turnback horse for a top cutting horse program.
He has ridden on the beaches of California to the Yellowstone wilderness of Montana. You can get any job done or ride him
anywhere with a string around his neck, including the drive-through of Starbucks. Nothing bothers Pancho – from fl ags and
traffi c, to ATVs and machinery. He has sat idle for 6 months and rode off with absolutely zero issues or buck. He doesn’t get hot or stupid when pushed for speed;
he consistently returns to quiet. I truly believe that if you can get on him, you can ride him. However, if you are a top hand, you will love how well trained and soft he
stays. He is sound, gentle and free of any issues or lameness whatsoever. Pancho will walk up to you in a pasture and is easy to catch, bridle, saddle, shoe and load.
He is truly a once-in-a-lifetime gelding. See him by calling Rachel Showalter. Rachel Showalter • 406-702-4007
