Hello and welcome to our 48th annual production
sale. Judy and I would like to thank all of our custom-
ers for your business. Without you, we would not be
        where we are today.

Every year I write this letter and it seems that every
year there are different challenges to try and maneuver
through, but somehow, we always seem to prevail. The Judy Loonan Rick Thompson
weather is always a big factor, and this year was no
different. The lack of moisture was a big issue for every
producer. I’m so thankful for rural water it was our
savior. This it very expensive but without it, our situation may have been way worse.

We feel we have an outstanding set of bulls to offer this year. Judy and I spend a lot of time
trying to find the best genetics available to improve our cow herd and make these genetics
available to our consumers. This year’s bulls are as complete as you will find anywhere in the
country. Our goal is to bring you bulls that are good on their feet and legs, are born easily
and grow rapidly with a quiet disposition and are phenotypically correct.

We have five new bulls with offspring on the sale this year. We purchased two Rebourne sons
from Cross Diamond Cattle Co. to run with our heifers. Both are moderate framed with loads
of muscle. Julian, another heifer bull we purchased at the Beckton Red Angus sale, is a super
calving-ease bull. Watch for his calves if you’re looking for a heifer bull.

We also bought two Simmental bulls one from the Rydeen sale and one from Keller’s Bro-
ken Heart. Hard Rock is a heavy-muscled, long-sided bull that is as quiet as the day is long.
His calves seem to be the same. Sniper was a bull we pen bred to so you will see a lot of his
calves in the sale. Sniper has calving ease to go along with great performance.

If you’re in need of a herd bull, please feel free to come and look or give Judy or myself a call
with any questions. We’ll do our best to answer any questions you might have.

We look forward to talking with you at our February 4th sale.

        Thanks again for your support.
