Red Angus-Simmental cross heifers bred to calve May 15 to May 30. They
are bred to Kuhn and Huber EY Red Angus calving-ease Red Angus bulls.
All heifers are home raised and pelvic measured. They had the Select Vac
program as calves and Preg Guard 10 at breeding. They were fed a quality
organic mineral package with Rumensin force-fed in the TMR all winter.
Also, recently they were treated with a 28-day Decoquinate program to
reduce Coccidiosis shed prior to calving.
