Dear Friends,

We are excited to offer females once again in our 4th Annual Online Maternal Monday
sale! This offering consists of both fall-calving Red Angus cows as well as Red Angus
and SimGenetics bred heifers. Thanks to our prolific donors exceeding our expectations,
you can be the beneficiary by purchasing an embryo package. We are also offering
semen from sires that have been used to develop the Red Hill program.

For those unfamiliar with our cattle breeding program, we are focused on the female.
For generations we have selected to improve Fertility, Stayability, Udder Quality, and
Feet and Leg Soundness. Also, Disposition has always been of major importance. While
economically relevant cowherd traits have driven the Red Hill Selection Program, we
have always attempted to pull along as much growth and carcass superiority as possible.
This Maternal Monday sale features Red Hill cows, heifers, and embryos as well as those
from our cooperator, Rogers Cattle Company, LLC from North Carolina. Johnny and
Sharon Rogers’ herd consists primarily of fall-calving Red Angus cows, and like the Red
Hill program, they produce cattle that thrive on fescue-based pastures. It appears that
fescue adaptable cattle have the potential to thrive in all environments in the U.S.!

Rogers Cattle Company has been breeding Red Angus cattle for over 20 years. In this
2023 Maternal Monday sale, they are offering the opportunity to purchase foundation
cows 6 years of age and older – a mature cowherd dispersal. Many of these cows have
been successful donors. All these cows have been productive in the herd – producing
standout bulls for the Red Hill bull sales. Please contact Johnny and Sharon Rogers with

For those unfamiliar with an online sale, bidding changes to ‘racehorse-style’ at 8PM
EDT/7PM CDT on Monday, May 15. Bidding will continue if there is activity within the
allotted time frame (typically 3 to 5 minutes.) The sale ends when bidding activity ends.
