Blue Duck is a blue roan gelding that’s easy to be around and suitable for most anyone.
He’s a gorgeous mover with a soft lope. Has a nice one-handed neck rein. Moves off leg
pressure. You can ride him bridleless. He has a lot of miles out on the trail and arena. WIll
ride out alone and with others. We’ve used him to check fence. He will cross water, logs
and go anywhere you point him. In the arena, we’ve been roping the Hot Heels and out of
Lot 50 • Blue Duck the box on the head side. He will side pass to open and close a gate. Will go through the
trail course obstacles. Easy to clip and bathe. Good with the farrier and all vet care.

Boomtown was the first and only cold out of our Cherry mare. He was started right at the
DSU colt breaking class as a 2-year-old. He spent a total of four months with Justin Scho-
field. He is more than ready to find a permanent home on the rodeo trail. He’s been ranch
on, hunted the Badlands and won fast times in tie-down and breakaway jackpots. Bootown
is quick, catty and overall athletic. Other than normal maintenace, he has no health issues.

leaves on the rodeo circuit.

This horse is a great all-around ranch and trail horse that will suit the whole family on that
side of his career. He has done it all on the ranch including dragging calves to the fire. We
have hauled him in the heading to the jackpots but is not for beginner riders or ropers. His
bad habit is he is not for a beginner in the arena roping. Don’t overlook him as he is a nice
ranch horse.
