Dear Friends,
Welcome to our 9th Annual Fall Sale. We are excited to offer an entire group of our elite
spring-calving Red Angus cows over the age of 5, including our donors. We have an excellent
set of SimGenetics, Angus, and Red Angus bulls to meet the needs of our customers, just as
we have since our first fall sale in 2015. In addition, we are offering a select set of Red Angus
and SimGenetics bred heifers, as well as hand-picked, genomically enhanced commercial
bred heifers representing Red Hill genetics.
In November 2022, Red Hill Farms became a Leachman $Profit share member, and we are
submitting data to the Leachman Genetic Evaluation System. This Evaluation is conducted
by Zoetis using the “Georgia Single-Step” method which corrects pedigree relationships and
is a more accurate way to generate GE-EPDs and indexes. The $Profit Indexes will be used
for making selection decisions in the Red Hill program, and we encourage our commercial
customers to do likewise.

When you buy cattle from Red Hill, you are purchasing part of the Red Hill program. Red Hill
cattle have been selected to improve economically relevant traits with the goal of optimizing
the practicality and profitability for our commercial customers. We focus on documented
breed leading genetic predictions while maintaining phenotypically pleasing cattle.
Our program doesn’t stop with the animals we sell. We believe in the importance of offering
services to our customers – services that will increase the profitability of your herd. Ask us

Our presale seminar will be held online via Zoom on Monday, October 23, 2023, at 7 p.m.
CDT. Instructions can be found on page 1 of this catalog. We will also be having a presale
event on Friday evening, October 27, 2023, with dinner to start at 6 p.m. CDT. There will not
be a formal seminar on Friday evening, but we anticipate a time of sharing about the Red Hill
program and learning from our friends and customers.
A major reward of the seedstock business is the opportunity to enjoy the friendship and
fellowship of our customers and fellow breeders. You are always welcome to visit our farm.
We intend to collect a very comprehensive data set and share all the information with our
