Hello and welcome to our Production Sale.
First off, we would like to thank all our past customers for their support in
our program and welcome any new customers. We feel extremely blessed
that so many of you have put your trust in our program. I would also like to
thank my family and friends for everything they do for our operation. Ranch
visits are always welcome prior to the sale if anyone would like to come take
a look at our offering and be able to check out their Dams in their working
clothes.
We have put together another solid set of Balancer bulls again this year.
This might be our most consistent set yet from front pen to back pen. There
are a few additions to the sale this year. One being that the bulls are listed
and grouped into sire groups, and another being that we have a Brockle
face commercial heifer for sale along with 14 other top quality commercial
replacement heifers. Our sale will once again be broadcast on DV Auction
this year, hopefully the weather will cooperate, and you can make the sale,
but just an added benefit in case you can’t make it.
The way the weather started in October I was worried we were going to
have another extremely long winter, but fortunately it has turned out to be
an amazing fall/early winter so far. The mild conditions so far have allowed
us to save a lot of feed and bedding, which is a nice change from last year.
The pen of bulls this year weaned off at 787 LB Avg. on 9/9/2023. They
never slowed down and from 9/9/2023 – 12/10/2023 they had an ADG of
3.67 Lbs/day.
As you read through the footnotes on these bulls and heifers you will realize
we are very proud of the females behind them. Every calf in this sale is out
of Dams that were born and raised at our ranch, and I take great pride in
that. We are all in this business to be profitable, and the #1 factor in that is a
solid cow that is fertile and produces a consistent calf year after year.
We have really liked getting to know our customers and their operations.
We have made a lot of lifelong friendships and for that we would like to
say thank you. We will continue to do our best to produce solid bulls that
get to your ranch, do their jobs in the pasture, hold their conditions, and
create some high performing cattle for you. We love hearing feedback from
you about what our genetics are doing for your operations, so please don’t
hesitate to let us know.
In closing I would like to thank everyone for your support in our program,
and I hope everyone can join us at our sale on January 20, 2024.
