Welcome to our 2024 Annual Production Sale!

This year, we are so happy to welcome you all to our ranch for our sale day!!

Preparations have been underway since September to host you in our DSR Barn Hayloft. Our
93-year-old matriarch of the ranch has seen a lifetime of beautiful spring babies, harvests,
children’s shenanigans, Sunday afternoon basketball games and show animals among the
generations. Now she is ready to be part of a new legacy in 2024!

We are excited to share this set of bulls and females with you. The markets are climbing up
and now is the time to invest in the best genetics available and hybrid vigor is the best value
for your herd. We have been DNA testing our calf crops for the last four years in order to help
give you the most accurate EPDs possible. This test is comparable to having 25 calving ease,
weaning wt., and yearling wt. records added to these traits in order to make them more accu-
rate. It also helps in the accuracy of Stayability and carcass traits.

The bulls have been conditioned for just about any environment; from snow to rain, to
drought, etc. and we couldn’t be happier in how they have performed. They were raised on
grass and mama’s milk until weaning. We then had a high fiber balance ration put together
to keep them sound. As always, we will keep the bulls until around May 1 and deliver up 150
miles free of charge with a semen check.

This year we have a group of strong aged bulls in the lineup. We believe that these bulls will
add pounds to your herd. We will need for you to pick them up after the sale as soon as
possible.

The females are from the heart of our herd. You can find the DSR prefix in pedigrees in a
number of sale catalogs around the state. We are always excited to see our genetics work for
others. TK Vet did the ultrasounds and we have been very pleased with Travis’s accuracy. We
did give them a Scour Bos shot and poured them with Clean-Up. We would ask that you make
arrangement to pick up the heifers at the ranch as soon as possible as some are getting close
to calving.
