We’ve been in the market for herd sires this year and looked at a lot of bulls. This bull will float to the top of anyone’s wish list.
He has been a standout since he hit the ground and gets noticed. Phenotypic evaluations sum it up with above average marks for
length, depth, capacity and extreme thickness. As we evaluate, I type as fast as Bob talks and notes read: huge nuts, broad topped,
ribeye pops, square butted, good disposition, broad stance and chest floor, smooth shouldered. His dam is from the perfor-
mance-minded Lakota family. She posts an MPPA of 102 on 5 with an average WR of 102, YR of 105, IMF ratio of 119 and REA
ratio of 106. This bull follows suit with every measurable trait resulting in ratios all the way up to an IMF of 136 and FAT of 156.
His number package is one of the strongest in the offering with 14 in the top 35% of the breed or higher and over half in the top
9%. There is a tremendous birth to growth spread with all calving ease and performance numbers in the top 9%. Here is a true
‘no holes’ curve bender.
