1 1 BUCKEYE’S LEGEND
2019 Gray IDSHR #202303371
Gelding 16.3 HH
Legend - Living up to his name each day is who we would like to offer
to you for your consideration. Having been born locally here in Ohio to
horse people, Legend was no accident. He was started the right way
the first two years of his life. Then we acquired him in his two-year-old
life and the infrastructure was there so all we had to do was show him
and expose him to things in life. We can proudly call him a BUCKEYE GRADUATE
in All Disciplines. Legend is a 5-year-old registered IDSHR Friesian X gelding that
stands a strong 16.3 hands tall. His sire is a 7/8 Friesian and 1/8 Warm Blood and
the dam is a Quarter/Draft X mare. He will ride both English and Western. We have
had him on all kinds of trails up and down the hills and he is very sure footed. He
will also cross water no matter how deep or how fast it is moving. He will face any
obstacle without missing a stride. Pulling a carriage is a breeze to him. We have
had him in downtown environments and in heavy state route traffic. We call Legend
very safe for any level of person looking for that next forever equine partner to go
riding or driving. Legend’s gaits are as smooth as they come. His walk reminds
you of floating down a lazy river, very relaxing. His trot is like going through a field
of wildflowers and is very refreshing. Legends canter makes you feel like you are
soaring through the clouds with the Eagles. Legend’s attitude – let’s talk about how
he loves attention and will gladly take all the hugs and kisses that you can throw
his way. Legend is always the first one to greet you at the gate each day. Legend
can be in a stall each day or turned out in a mixed herd – he does not have to be
in a steady program to keep him the same. Riding him once a day or once a month does not matter to him, as he will always bring a smile to your face. Legend’s ground
manners – he will stand quietly in cross ties for the vet, farrier and also the wash bay. He is very clean in his stall and is always a gentleman no matter the circumstances he
is in. He always gives you what you ask and will always do it with a willing attitude! UTD on all his shots and deworming. For more information, please call Duane.
