P. 2

Greetings All,

Thank you so much for your interest in this sale. Our operation is first and foremost a com-
mercial Red Angus operation with a goal to produce the best and most uniform calves we
possibly can. It became more and more difficult to find bulls that met our expectations for
quality, consistency and quantity, so we started implementing AI and embryo transfer into
our herd to help reach our goals.

To help our chances in achieving our goals we went out and purchased multiple “picks”
throughout the years. Any females that we have that do not have the “OOO” prefix are
females we did a lot of homework on and feel like they were the best one to be had at the
given situation. This includes buying “Pick” of Green Mountains whole bred heifer herd in
2019 and 2020, buying “Pick” with our great friends over at SRS Red Angus and selecting
the best replacement heifer we could find in Beckton’s whole herd. More recently, we spent
three days going through Ludvigson’s complete female dispersal with our great friend Mi-
cheal Rea, where we feel like we were able to pick up hree of the top five best phenotypical
                   females out of 1,700 head.

Buying incredible donors has been what has kept our bull battery heading in the direction
we strive for, but one side effect of our program is the incredible females we have been
fortunate enough to produce. As we mentioned, we are a commercial operation and have no
desire to be in the “registered” business so that is why we are getting rid of every 2023 or
older model female and why you have the opportunity at these cattle.

We are selling all the females as mentioned but we are only offering the good disposition,
good doing, good looking end. The bottom cut will have a different fate. These females we
would argue have lived and survived in conditions harder than any registered cows you will
find, spending their life out in big pastures with minimal inputs, not eating every bite stand-
ing in a barn eating from a bunk.

We feel that as you go through the catalog and the videos you will be impressed with the
quality. We aren’t trying to be cute and try to outsmart anyone so the cattle will be in order
of their ID number for most part. You will find a lot of full sisters, maternal sisters and
exceptional quality through the whole offering. We have collected embryos from females
throughout the offering and do plan to retain the right to ONE COLLECTION/FLUSH at our
cost and the buyer’s convenience on all females being offered.

We just recently moved the cattle to pens 3 miles south of Flagler, CO, for sale preparation
and ease for people to look at them. We were fortunate enough to receive a 30-year snow
in early November and the side effects of that have helped add a little character/mud to the
process. We will take the moisture over shiny cattle any day.

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions and thanks again for your interest!
