Wow! Where has the time gone?! Here we are preparing for our 13th annual Low-Input, High-Output sale! We
could not do any of this without you, our valued customers whom we like to call friends.
This year’s offering is truly something to look at and we are proud to offer them to you. We have many new sire
groups and wow, do they impress! We have been investing into some of the best bulls and donor-type cows across
North America to better our herd and you. Our goal is to provide bulls that will produce pounds and highly function-
al females for the replacement pen. One of my greatest pleasures in this business is showing off our open replace-
ment females. That is what I call the investment pen. It is the future of the ranch and dictates the direction we are
headed. And by golly, I like our direction! Please come to the ranch and take a look. We would love to have you and
visit about your goals.
The herdsman, Kaden, aka the yearling, loves to visit about cattle. He is a walking genetic computer. He is a huge
help to all, day-to-day chores, loves to be part of and take in as many sales as he can! Thank you, Kaden, for all you
do!!
Our daughter, Kylee, has started college this fall at NDSU! She is pursuing a degree in Radiologic Sciences. She
keeps herself busy studying, shopping and still shows her face at home every once in a while, to help out with the
cows or when she needs gas or money!
Kolden, aka Little John, likes to tag along to the sales with his big brother! He loves to hunt and fish. He also likes to
make cold-start videos of his grumpy Dodge in the morning before school! He loves to drive semi, bale hay if Kaden
lets him, and is always willing to lend a hand.
As in our previous years, the bulls are developed on a TMR forage-based diet. This ensures their soundness with
enough energy to let them express their potential and growth through the cold weather.
The bulls all have genomic enhanced EPDs and will be carcass ultrasound tested before the sale. They are on a full
mineral and vaccination program, will be semen tested upon delivery, along with a soundness examination.
