Another attractively made Honor son who has been solid from the start. He was one of my top picks this
past summer as a yearling on pasture, where he really stood out. He’s out of an excellent first-calf heifer
sired by LFE The Riddler 323B. The Honor progeny are incredibly consistent in design—long-spined
cattle that are clean-fronted with extra neck extension, smooth-shouldered, and a fancy look with a well-
balanced muscle pattern. They all stand on excellent feet and press down the scale at weaning. Lot 126
ranks in the top 15% or better of the breed for WW, YW, Stay, and REA, and in the top 30% or better for Dam to Lot 126
ADG, MCE, MWW, CW, YG, BF, and TI.

Lot 127
A really stout-made, big-volumed bull with as much middle as any bull
in the sale. He has an attractive presence with extra size that balances
well with his extreme depth of rib and flank. This bull was accidentally
switched with a heifer’s calf a couple of days after birth. Because we
calve on pasture, we felt it was best to leave them as they were, knowing
both had a mother. Despite this, he still weaned at 760 pounds and Dam to Lot 127 Granddam to Lot 127
ratioed above average at 101 on a first-calf heifer’s milk. However, it’s
likely he would’ve weaned even higher had he been on his TEX Playbook
dam. He ranks in the top 30% of the breed or better for WW, YW, ADG, Milk, MWW, and Docility. This is a really well-balanced bull, combining MRL Power Play’s power and bone
substance with the beautifully made Angus-based cow out of TEX Playbook 5437!
