Sunny Joe is a 6-year-old, 15.1-hand registered AQHA buck-
skin gelding with a stunning coat, correct conformation, and
a kind, willing attitude. He is the kind of horse that checks all
the boxes – beginner safe, kid safe, versatile, and dependable.
Over the past year in our program, Sunny Joe has proven himself to be the ultimate “been there, done
that” partner, ready for any task you throw his way. Whether it is a casual trail ride, or a day spent check-
ing cattle, Sunny Joe handles it all with ease. He has been on countless trail rides, confidently crossing
creeks and tackling various terrains. On the ranch, he is equally dependable, having been used to check
the cows and navigating everyday obstacles. He is desensitized to tarps, jugs, and even gunfire. Sunny
Joe’s versatility shines through—one day, you can enjoy a relaxing trail ride, and the next, you can take
him to a ranch show. His smooth gaits and excellent training make him suitable for both recreational and
competitive settings. He is always eager to please and takes care of his rider, whether it is a first-time
beginner or an experienced hand. Sunny Joe wears shoes on all four feet due to the terrain where we
ride, but he has strong, healthy hooves and could easily go barefoot if desired. In the pasture, he is easy
to catch, always meeting you with his friendly demeanor. In the barn, he is a true gentleman, respectful
and easy to handle in every way. With his gorgeous Buckskin color, solid build, and proven temperament,
