Here is a gelding that I can bet you will spend
hours and hours searching for but never
seem to find. TESTEDPOSITIVEFORCOW is a
5-year-old registered AQHA pretty Palomino
gelding that, get this, stands a solid 13.2 hands high.
Yes, you read that right, he is a pony height but has the
mind and grit of a much larger horse. He is by the up-
and-coming leading sire STEVIE REY VON who is by the
incredible all-time leading cutting horse METALLIC CAT
who does not need any introduction at all. He is out of
MAGICS JILL, who is by MAGIC RIDE that goes back to
SMART CHIC OLENA on the top and goes back to DOC
OLENA on the bottom side. This sweet, friendly, smooth
as ice gelding has won the hearts of all that have met
him. Cowboy, as we call him, may not have been seen in
the show pen, but he certainly has the style and ability to
handle it all. We got this fella off the farm that bought him
as a yearling where he spent his days doing all aspects of
ranch work. He moved cattle, was roped off of, doctored
calves and even learned all the maneuvers of reining while
he was there. He will spin correctly without lifting his foot,
he slides with his butt barely off the ground, he lifts and
carries himself whenever you ask and never causes any
issues or gets upset at anything new we bring him too.
He knows the tricks and will go through any obstacle we
take him through. Since he spent his days on the ranch,
he does not raise his head at all when we take him out on
the trail. He has seen everything and nothing seems to
surprise him. He will cross the creeks, be brave in deeper
water, will take you over any type of bridge and climb
the steep hills and take it easy going down, making sure
to watch where he places his feet. He is a favorite to the
children because he is so easy for them to groom, tack,
and ride and they feel like they are riding as big a horse
as the older riders. He gives a lot of grace to his riders if
they are not that experienced and will take care of the youngest or oldest of riders no matter where they are in their skills with riding. He is solid enough to
carry an adult rider and has no issues working the cows for them. He has to be one of the most fun horses to ride with his easy, laid-back personality, but
his ability to match the skills of his rider. He has a gliding smooth jog, super easy lope and a great ground covering walk. He will fit into any program and
does not need to be ridden every day to always be the same horse each and every time you get him out. He has that true, puppy-dog, personality where he
will take the time to nuzzle your hand and even likes to give you a soft kiss on the cheek if you want. He has zero bad habits and will come when you call if
you have him out in the pasture. He has fantastic manners in the barn and will calmly stand in the cross ties while you get him ready. He will walk onto any
trailer and come off at any new location as if he has been there a bunch of times. If you feel that you have found your match with Cowboy, then please feel
