1 ICE Champagne Grade
John
14.2 HH Year Born: 2017
Ice is an 8-year-old, 14.2 HH champagne colored john mule. You
will not find a more kind mule than this handsome, uniquely col-
ored guy. He is excellent on the trail and very smooth to ride. If you
practice a little, you will be able to put him in a wonderfully smooth
single-foot gait that he can do all day on flat ground. But, his talents don’t stop
there. Ice is fearless on the trail and will cross any kind of rough terrain safely and
carefully. He does not hesitate to cross running or deep water and will walk right
across bridges, even narrow foot bridges with handrails. He has a nice neck rein
and will walk at the speed you ask. We have thrown a rope and drug a log on him
and he was just fine with that. He has moved, gathered and sorted cattle numerous
times. We have used him for elk hunting in Eastern Oregon, used him to pony colts
and trail rode him in the canyon country of Southern Utah. He was started under
saddle by a young trainer in the Midwest and has been ridden on the trails around
Yellowstone and in the Big Horn mountains of Wyoming. He is sweet and patient
and appreciates being groomed. He is excellent for the farrier, good to clip and
bathe and loves to be pampered. He is gentle and polite on the ground and he has
no issues with his ears. He has no problem with busy dogs on the trail or in the
barnyard. Ice is a good, solid trail mule at just the right age and just the right size
with just the right combination of experience to go on and be your next lifetime
trail partner. He has a current Coggins and a new set of shoes. If you would like
more information or would like to meet Ice at our ranch before the sale or during
sale week at Bryce Canyon Mule Days, contact Pam Fournier.

2 DOLLY Grade
Sorrel
Molly
15.3 HH Year Born: 2012
Dolly is an all-around, great minded mule with the right build.
She’s ready to go any direction you point her in and has been an
outstanding pack mule on our string. Dolly does great with other
mules and is an experienced pack mule. She’s seen blood and
different kinds of game. Nothing bothers her – she stands perfectly still to load
her up. Any level of rider can crawl on Dolly – she doesn’t mind! We’ve chased
hound dogs on her in the wilderness and we’ve packed her in with the camp. Dolly
doesn’t care, she’s ready for any of it. Dolly has been in parades and is awesome
with kids. She loves to be petted on and would be a great fit for any family or
program. Dolly is the type to be the first one at the gate in the morning and is very
easy to catch and halter. She is also very easy to shoe. We’ve worked cattle on her
and gathered in some rough country and Dolly has always gotten the job done,
regardless of the situation. For more information on Dolly call Matt.
